Customer Sales Advisor

We have an exciting opportunity for a Customer Sales Advisor to join our busy team at our offices in Ilton, just outside Ilminster. Our Customer Sales Advisors are at the heart of our business and are essential to our continued growth and success. The main duties of the role will include:
- Receiving sales orders and enquiries by phone and discussing customer needs
- Engaging customers in conversation about company products and projects to offer other synergistic products
- Assessing each order in terms of customer requirements and answering any queries on products, pricing and delivery
- Communicating with customers about general service issues
- Assisting in managing telephone sales campaigns
- Qualifying leads from various sources to identify opportunities for field sales teams
- Qualifying leads from marketing databases and track to appropriate level to hand over to field sales teams
- Acting as the link between marketing and sales departments for joint campaigns
- Using Sage software to process orders to a high level of accuracy
- Generating purchase orders for special products and bespoke items within Sage system
- Ability to understand customer account status and where necessary liaise with accounts department on any credit control issues impacting delivery of sales
To succeed in this role you will need to have a confident approach to dealing with customers coupled with an excellent telephone manner. Naturally you will have strong communication and interpersonal skills, be highly organised and be prepared to go the extra mile to deliver the highest level of service to our customers.
